The Relational Studies Institute promotes ‘Relational Thinking’ as an approach to social reform based on the ethical values of the Judaeo-Christian tradition.
It seeks to counter the powerful trends of individualism and consumerism in society by emphasising that all of life is relational. Good and just relationships are the key to personal development and maturation, organisational effectiveness, and stable, cohesive and productive societies.
The Institute trains leaders from different countries in the relational vision of the Bible, equips them to be advocates for right relationships in public life, and inspires them to become catalysts for social transformation today. In providing a fresh, relational way of engaging in society, we offer:
- a strategy for Christian discipleship and witness at work
- a positive agenda for transforming organisations and wider society
- a practical framework for improving specific relationships
Background:
The Relational Studies Institute is an initiative of the non-profit organisation Relationships Global (RG), launched in 2010 to provide training and support to members of RG’s Christian constituency.
